If you'd like to join me in this campaign to celebrate my birthday, there are several things you can do.
JOIN ME: If you're in the Austin area, join me during any portion of the 50 hours to hear the facts that I'll be sharing in person for anyone who will listen, or to help me share these facts if you'd like to participate actively.
LEARN AND SHARE: If you can't join me in person, please take time to read the 50 facts on this site. Dive into the references and research to back up each of these facts and share the information with others.
TAKE ACTION: If you'd like to take action in your own community, use the information that I have collected to advocate and spread the word to others.
MAKE A GIFT: If you can't do any of these, consider making a donation to a non-profit organization that is helping drive awareness of the climate crisis and solutions. I have picked these 5 organizations for you to choose from or if you have another favorite, feel free to give to them and let me know.
If you're inspired to take more action, there are many great resources and organizations to help. I'll update this page with more of them soon but in the meantime, a few to help you get started:
Follow the Heatmap Guide: How to Decarbonize Your Life - This is one of my favorite resources to guide people through the steps on how to make the biggest impact in reducing their carbon footprint.
Talk to your Representatives: CCL can Help - Sharing your concerns with your representatives always matters. Citizen's Climate Lobby is a great org to help you get started.
Deepen Your Understanding of Climate Solutions at Project Drawdown - The facts of the Climate Crisis can be daunting but the solutions we have to solve them are here. Read more about them at Project Drawdown.
NEW! SHIFT Guide This guide from Project Drawdown will help you take the actions that matter most, based on your circumstances.
